More complicantions and legal issued are raised with the subject of same sex divorce.  No one really wants to think of divorce when you are getting married but with the same sex marriage there is a 50% chance you will get divorce.  The facts are not out with same sex marriage.  This makes me think that it really that the law needs to be passed federally.  This state by state is so confusing so if you get married in a state that grants same sex marriage but you move, you have to go back to the state that you were married because the state you live in does not accept same sex marriage.  How confusing is this.  Other issues with child custody and child support along with federal money where one may have served and the other did not serve you have pensions that will not be divided for the other who did not serve.  This is why it needs to be passed federally and not state by state.
